Best invention in years!!

I’m in Germany at the moment, stealing some free wi-fi on the street, freezing my ass off to bring you this damn cool invention.
So I’m working in a maze of a building in Dusseldorf (apologies if that’s spelt wrong, but I’m cold and don’t have dictionary to hand), anyway, I asked one of the guys how to get outside to the smoking point and he took me to one of the tea rooms within the building where this box was sitting, its basicly a box with an extractor fan on the roof and a hole in the middle of the desk to drop your butts into. These things are everywhere!! No more wandering outside in the freezing cold and having a fag, instead grab a coffee, light up and enjoy.

Yay, I managed to get my hands on a launch day UK iPhone. I left work 15 minutes early on friday from work (thanks to B for that one) and got to the Kingston Apple store at 5 to 6 in the evening, there was a queue of about 50 or so people in front of me, and Apple being Apple, they waited till 6.02 before opening the doors with all the staff lined up cheering and clapping as they let people in. After about 20 minutes I was at the front of the line and, the next minute or so is a little blurry, I handed over a card, I was handed a phone and off I went in a daze with my new toy. As I’m sure you can guess, I’m so impressed with this thing, it just works so nicely and the little touches like the facebook redirect to a page that’s set perfectly for it just make this better everytime I use it.
