The Now Show on Radio 4

Posted on July 30th, 2008 in Uncategorized by Kevin

Just listened to ‘The Now Show’ which is part of Radio 4′s Friday Night Comedy podcasts. If you have never heard it before, its with Steve Punt & Hugh Dennis, who had a short lived series on the BBC back in the 90′s (The Imaginatively Titled Punt & Dennis Show) which I also loved at the time.

Anywho, download the episode linked below and check out the last 2 minutes or so, had me laughing my big arse off.

I certainly enjoy The Now Show, two main guests being Marcus Brigstock & Mitch Benn.
Marcus doing sketches such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UY-ZrwFwLQg and in his own words “It’s impossible for me to not be satarical”

And Mitch Benn who produces the superb song’s that you’ll hear on the now show.

I also rip off the Now Show real stream each week these days, there’s no archive of the now show anywhere. So it’s good to have them kept somewhere to listen back to.

Also the podcast from the Now show one week contained two music samples that really made two seperate jokes, the music had to be cut due to copyright.
